Francesco Marino are a family owned tie makers based in Naples. For three generations they have hand-selected silks from the North of Italy and made their ties by hand in their workshop which was founded in the 1940’s.
ORIGIN
I was first introduced to F. Marino and their wonderful ties by our friends at Fox Brothers in Somerset. As I was due a trip to Naples to meet with various sartoria and cloth merchant Caccioppoli, I arranged to call in at F. Marino also. I spent a wonderful afternoon at their workshop hand-selecting silk cloths and facings, which they themselves hand-select from silk mills in Northern Italy. All ties are handmade on-site and are offered in 3 Fold, 5 Fold and 7 Fold. We favour the 3 Fold, but we are happy to undertake special commissions to meet your specific needs.
