urban camouflage

Fox Brothers new range of tweeds make marvellous use of colour. Imbued with Autumnal shades there is a wide selection of patterns and weaves that are ultimately wearable.

Originally taking its inspiration from the rural landscape of the Scottish highlands, tweed has provided camouflage to shooters for centuries. Traditional tweed colours are plentiful but rarely are they as contemporary as the Gun Club check; the cloth which we have selected for our new Fatto-in-Italia jacket.

Taking it’s name from an American gun club which adopted the ubiquitous check as it’s own, our chosen Gun Club utilises the holy grail of a three-tone colour-way; incorporating a chocolate brown, grey and green check on a fawn colour 18oz cloth, which makes for a Jacket that is versatile, providing a covetable variety of options for pairing with other key items in one’s wardrobe.

The incredibly soft handle of Fox Brothers’ tweeds belie their 18oz weight and lend themselves to the soft-tailoring of our Fatto-in-Italia range of garments, which are described as deconstructed i.e. sans shoulder pads, lining etc. Replete with spalla camicia, barchetta-breast pocket and replete with patch pockets, double vent and a three-roll-two fastening; which affords the wearer an additional insulative-layer of security against the elements.

The Custom Collection is designed with utility in mind: offering wardrobe staples in a variety of cloths, colours and textures - which can be alternated or reinvented, as desired.

Whichever gun club check you opt for, it will provide camouflage for your chosen pursuit; whether at the Club, down the pub, strolling in the countryside or taking coffee al fresco..
