The oldest makers of braces in the world, Albert Thurston have been making braces of the highest quality since 1820. A new addition to the Atelier, the Rigid Stripe, replete with leather and braided ends.
ORIGIN
I was commissioned to make a blazer using regimental buttons and so took a trip to Benson & Clegg in Piccadilly Arcade (they keep a great selection of buttons and trims and are also keepers of a Royal Warrant) to collect the buttons in person. On display were a pair of acid yellow braces (which Thurston’s call Gold) which I coveted and ergo procured and so began a love affair with tradition, quality and the art of making the worlds most historical braces.

100% cotton-madras handkerchiefs in a selection of designs and colour-ways. Handcrafted in Chennai from one of India's oldest cloth merchants. Soft to the touch but incredibly hardwearing and absorbent, whether they are used to mop one’s brow or stem a flow, the handkerchief is the quintessential accoutrement that no Gentleman should be without.
