Brown in Town’s take on the classic polo

With their bright and breathable pique cottons, the polo shirt has been a firm favourite of tennis players and golfers, not to mention mods and casuals, for generations.

Historically understood to be based upon shirts worn by British polo players and adapted by our American counterparts, it is as recognisable as the classic Oxford button-down shirt – which it is said were also inspired by the sport.

Brown in Town’s take on the classic polo is a made-to-measure affair, so will be made using your own shirt measurements. You can also customise the design; opting either for the ubiquitous short sleeve design or a long sleeve with a choice of the traditional knitted cuff or a single-cuff, as you’d sport on an Oxford-style shirt. You can also choose from the traditional knitted collar design or opt for your own preferred collar style, such as the Kent or Button-Down.
