Whether for use in town, or country, an overcoat can provide the extra layer of protection from the elements when, and only when, we succumb to the fact that winter is finally upon us! And perhaps, even more than the suit, the overcoat evokes in the wearer the style of their personal sartorial heroes and the overcoats which they wore; Cary Grant and his timeless double breasted overcoat, James Dean' and his sailor's peacoat and Arthur Daley and his camel coat; each synonymous with the other.

Here at Brown in Town, we welcome our patron's sartorial inspiration, but moreover, we like to encourage them - taking into consideration why such overcoats looked so fantastic on their heroes shoulders and ponder which might be the most suitable overcoat for their needs, and of course, for their own personal style.
