It was once said "never brown in town", the mild indiscretion of wearing one's tweed in the city or brown shoes with a navy blue suit; times change and along the way so can sartorial advice.

We are inspired by traditional English tailoring, but, as our name would suggest, we're not adverse to breaking with tradition in order to achieve the perfect look for the individual; whether that means wearing tweed on your wedding day or indeed brown shoes with a blue suit; we cannot deny that some of us look good in such colour combinations.

Since 2014, we have offered an extensive range of some of the worlds finest cloths from some of the worlds most renowned mills such as Fox Brothers and Abraham Moon and merchants such as Holland and Sherry and Caccioppoli. All our garments are tailored with impeccable cut and finish using our go to cutters and workshops in order to meet your sartorial requirements, whether your personal style is classic, renaissance or revolutionary!

We would be delighted to discuss your sartorial requirements with you at our studio below decks at Bangshanky hair salon on Colston Street, Bristol or the comfortable surroundings of the Hoxton Hotel in Shoreditch, London, where we have bi-monthly residency.
